What are the responsibilities and job description for the Nurse Practitioner Hospitalist position at Regional Medical Center of Central Alabama (RMCCA)?
POSITION PURPOSE A nurse practitioner, while practicing medicine under the protocols of a Primary Care Physician/Hostpitalist will utilize his/her skills, knowledge, and experience to obtain complete medical histories, perform comprehensive examinations, order and initially interpret diagnostic laboratory and radiological studies.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS Education:
Masters Degree from an accredited college or university and have completed a Nurse Practitioner Education Program approved by the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation (CAHEA)
Experience: One year experience required
Licenses/Certificates: Licensed in the state of Alabama.
