Responsibilities
- Conduct nuclear medicine Stress texts.
- Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals to patients while adhering to aseptic techniques.
- Operate imaging equipment and ensure proper functioning through routine maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals to interpret scan results and provide accurate reports.
- Maintain patient records, documenting procedures performed, medications administered, and any relevant observations.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and protocols related to radiation exposure for both patients and staff.
- Educate patients about the procedures, addressing any concerns or questions they may have.
Experience
- Proven experience in nuclear medicine or a related field is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, and diagnostic evaluation techniques.
- Familiarity with nuclear stress technology.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with patients and healthcare team members effectively.
