The Regional Office of Education for Bureau, Henry, and Stark Counties is accepting applications for the position of full-time Youth Program Instructor to provide services to Henry County youth age 17-24.

Duties and Responsibilities:

· Tutor youth for successful completion of all content areas necessary to obtain a GED

· Recruit and enroll youth into program

· Adhere to all grant requirements

· Demonstrate knowledge of local resources

· Prepare youth to acquire and retain employment

· Provide opportunities for youth to explore career pathways

· Facilitate partnerships with Business Employment Skills Team and local school districts

· Maintain accurate student and program records per grant requirements

· Attend all mandatory meetings, conferences, and trainings

· Submit reports to direct supervisor as scheduled

· Maintain appropriate documentation for student incentives

· Demonstrates knowledge of current laws and pending legislation regarding job related topics

· Possess dependable transportation for daily travel in Bureau County

· Perform other duties as required or assigned

· Provide friendly, quality customer service to all individuals that interact with the ROE

Education and/or Work Experience:

· Bachelor’s degree preferred

· Experience with at-risk youth

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
