- Strong knowledge of swimming techniques and strategies
- Effective communication with students, parents, and staff
- Familiarity with IHSA/IESA and BCSD policies
- Responsible for budget and program resources
- Lead and oversee the swimming program, including student-athletes and coaching staff
- Develop and implement training plans and game strategies
- Foster sportsmanship and teamwork
- Organize daily practices, off-season programs, and team events
- Maintain equipment, uniforms, and program inventory
- Collaborate with trainers, administrators, and other coaches
