What are the responsibilities and job description for the Advanced Practice Provider (NP or PA) - Cardiology Clinic position at Regional One Health?
Regional One Health is currently seeking a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to work in our Outpatient Cardiology Clinics at our Downtown and East locations.
JOB SUMMARY AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Participates as a member of the health care team to meet patient needs and provide continuity of care. Under the administrative and technical supervision of a physician, performs medical services in the care and treatment of patients by obtaining medical histories, performing physical examinations, applying diagnostic techniques, ordering tests/procedures and evaluating to assess medical condition, developing treatment plans and performing selected therapeutic tasks, or other special procedures.
- Schedule: Monday – Friday
- Experience: New graduates are welcome. Cardiology experience preferred.
- Responsibilities: Collaborates with Physicians to assist with providing clinical support in the cardiology clinic managing the care for existing patients. Their administrative duties will consist of them coordinating patient orders, managing follow up appointments, device, ICD and consult management as well.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
EDUCATION: Graduate of an approved Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program. Additional training may be required for specialty areas. Qualified by education, training or experience to work with the neonate, infant, toddler, pre-school, school-age, adolescent, adult and/or geriatric patient population as specialty assignment dictates.
EXPERIENCE: One (1) years clinical experience as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner preferred. Demonstrated ability to work independently and make clinical assessments. Additional experience may be required in assigned specialty area. Cardiology Experience preferred.
LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION: Certification as Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner in State of TN. Additional certification in specialty areas may be required. Eligible for Prescriptive privileges) in State of Tennessee required.

- Graduate of a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program Required
- Qualified by education, training or experience to work with the adult and/or geriatric patient
- PA - Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner (APN) TN License, Certification or registry eligible required.
