Regional School District 8 is accepting applications for a 12-month, 35 - 40 hour per week, Human Resource Assistant / Generalist. This non-affiliated position will work closely with the Superintendent's office to support district staff and carry out general human resource processes and procedures.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to :
- Support hiring process (posting vacancies, onboarding of new employees)
- Collaborate with the business office with matters related to employee contracts
- Maintain employee databases
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal employee policies and procedures
- State and district reporting as required
- Support employees requiring leave
- Ensure the timely completion of required employee forms
Qualifications :
Compensation is anticipated to be between $24.00 and $27.00 per hour commensurate with experience.
Regional School District 8 (RHAM) is a high-performing, regionalized secondary school district serving approximately 1,200 students in grades seven through twelve residing in the towns of Hebron, Andover, and Marlborough. The district consists of one middle school and one high school located on a shared campus in Hebron, CT. The district offers rich academic experiences for students through a robust program of studies, as well as a variety of sports, extracurricular activities, and clubs to provide students with a well-rounded education.
