Peninsula School is seeking a Grade 2 Teacher. We are located in the seaside village of Prospect Harbor. Our school serves the communities of Gouldsboro, Winter Harbor, Birch Harbor, Prospect Harbor and Corea. Join our estabished team of K-5 educators in our supportive school community! Key areas of strength include strong early literacy and math skills, classroom management with knowledge or willingness to learn Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports (PBIS), use of data to inform teaching, planning developmentally appropriate lessons, collaborating positively with peers, and love of young children.
The successful candidate will hold a Maine Department of Education Teacher Certification #020 General K-8 Endorsement. Must hold a current MDOE Criminal History Records Check. Pay is based upon experience and level of education.
