Massabesic Adult and Community Education has the following vacancy for your consideration:
POSITION: Full-Time Physical Education Instructor at York County Jail
REPORTS TO: MACE Director
QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Physical education background preferred.
2. Prior teaching experience preferred.
3. Comfortable in a correctional setting.
WORKING HOURS: Year round, 35 hours per week.
START DATE: When suitable candidate is found.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Provides instruction to York County Jail residents in matters of physical fitness.
2. Facilitates a variety of fitness activities as well as intramural sports.
3. Provides a safe and comfortable learning environment.
4. Maintains student confidentiality.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential function of this job.
