JOB SUMMARY :
RTS is seeking a skilled Body Shop Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing vehicle body repairs, painting, and metal fabrication. Duties include preparing vehicles for paint or vinyl wraps, welding, and using various tools and equipment to restore vehicle bodies to their original condition. You will also be required to read and interpret OEM diagrams, repair seats, and install electronic signs. Safety, attention to detail, and efficiency are key in ensuring all work meets the highest quality standards.

COMPENSATION : Starting rate is $28.18 per hour. You will reach top rate within 3 years (current top rate for 2025 is $40.27)
This is a Union environment in association with the Amalgamated Transit Union, Local 282.

Salary : $28
