This Job:
- Is hourly and pays $21 - $25 DOE
- Includes incredible benefits
- Full time, 5 days/week
- Reports to the Executive Director
Responsibilities:
- Manage a 4-person dispatch team supporting a 25 driver fleet and ~400 rides/day.
- Observe all safety regulations and safety situations, and provide training
- Prioritizes customer service which includes efficiency in driver route scheduling and route management
- Participate in management team meetings
- Communicate with drivers over a two-way radio
- Work with vehicle technicians to ensure vehicles are ready for the road
- Additional duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent required; Associate or Bachelors degree preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of supervisor and vehicle dispatch (or comparable) experience with proven excellence in scheduling, supervising, and managing subordinates
- Excellent communicator, customer solution oriented, empathetic listener while maintaining a professional and calm demeanor. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, time management skills, and ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and related software, GPS, phone/table, and two-way radios. Must be able to become proficient in specialized transportation software.
- Pass drug and alcohol tests mandated by RTPs Drug and Alcohol program
