Accounts Receivable Specialist

Regional Vascular and Vein Institute is a well-established, successful private practice consisting of a group of 4 vascular surgeons serving individuals throughout Stark and surrounding counties. We are looking for a committed professional to join our team as our Accounts Receivable and Collections Specialist.

Duties Include

• Follow up and investigation of unpaid claims, not properly or fully paid, or denied by the payor or patient.
• Reprocesses claims to primary and second payor.
• Processes all accounts receivable and maintains days outstanding within acceptable limits.
• Implements and performs all collection procedures according to regulations and guidelines established by policy.
  
  

Requirements

• Candidates must have experience in medical claim resolution, claim reprocessing, and collections.
• Candidate must be experienced in calling insurance directly as well as accessing information via various portals to resolve unpaid or denied claims.
• Must be able to interpret an EOP/EOB.
