What are the responsibilities and job description for the Claims Examiner - On Site position at Regional West Health Services?
Regional Care, Inc. (RCI) is one of the nation’s premier independent third-party insurance administrators based in Scottsbluff, Nebraska and is actively looking for an individual with strong customer service to join the team as a Claims Examiner.
Our mission is to continue to grow our business by offering unique products and delivering exemplary services to our clients and broker partners while managing health care costs effectively.
To serve this mission, the Claims Examiner will process health/dental/vision claims as assigned, while answering customer service calls, emails and walk-ins.
As a RCI Claims Examiner, you will:
- Assure claims are input into the system with appropriate screening criteria.
- Review and interpret plan documents to appropriately apply plan benefits.
- Work closely with claims and administrative staff to assure positive and appropriate service.
You may be a good fit if you have:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- One to two years of general office experience preferred
- Knowledge of Third Party Administration and medical coding preferred
