About the Role:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Credentialing Coordinator to join our team. As a Credentialing Coordinator, you will be responsible for ensuring that all healthcare providers meet the necessary qualifications and standards required by our organization. Your attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously will be essential in this role. You will work closely with our team to ensure that all providers are properly credentialed and that our organization is in compliance with all regulatory requirements.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma, associates preferred
- 2 years of experience in healthcare credentialing.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with credentialing software.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist (CPCS) or Certified Professional Medical Services Management (CPMSM) certification.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the credentialing process for all healthcare providers, including verifying licenses, certifications, and other qualifications.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date provider information in our database.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure that all providers meet our organization's standards and requirements.
- Communicate with providers to obtain missing information and resolve any issues that arise during the credentialing process.
- Stay up-to-date with regulatory requirements and ensure that our organization is in compliance.
