What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lab Specialist position at Regional West Health Services?
Regional West Health Services is an independent, integrated health care delivery system based in Scottsbluff, Nebraska. We are actively looking for caring individuals to join the team as a Lab Processor.
As a Lab Specialist, you will:
- Provide clerical assistance necessary to maintain the efficient productive operation of the lab
- Collect appropriate blood specimens from patients of all ages after proper identification and correctly label specimens
- Maintain specimen integrity
You may be a good fit if you have:
- A high school diploma desired
- Certification as a Phlebotomist by American Society of Clinical Pathologist or another accrediting agency desirable
- Three years of working in a health care setting desirable
