What are the responsibilities and job description for the Phlebotomy Technician position at Regional West Health Services?
Regional West Health Services is an independent, integrated health care delivery system based in Scottsbluff, Nebraska. We are actively looking for caring individuals to join the team as a Phlebotomy Technician in the Donor Center.
As a Phlebotomy Technician, you will:
- Follow standard operating procedure for donor evaluation, collection of the blood, and care of the donor
- Manufacture components and perform donor room specific quality control functions
- Recognize and respond to abnormal test results and follow established policies of notification and documentation
You may be a good fit if you have:
- Phlebotomy certification by ASCP or another accrediting agency required
- A high school diploma
- CPR Certification required upon hire
- A valid driver’s license
