What are the responsibilities and job description for the Plan Document Builder position at Regional West Health Services?
Regional Care, Inc. (RCI) is one of the nation’s premier independent third-party insurance administrators based in Scottsbluff, Nebraska and is actively looking for an individual with strong customer service to join the team as a Document Builder.
Our mission is to continue to grow our business by offering unique products and delivering exemplary services to our clients and broker partners while managing health care costs effectively.
To serve this mission, the Plan Document Builder will build the legal plan documents, amendments and Summaries of Benefits and Coverage (SBC) for clients. This will require a responsibility to stay up-to-date on relevant state and federal health insurance laws while communicating any required benefit changes to staff.
As a RCI Plan Document Builder, you will:
- Follow-up on all Plan Documents, SPDs, and amendments for necessary revisions and make sure all documents are signed and implemented in a timely manner.
- Review plan designs with the Plan Document Specialist upon renewals for mandatory benefit changes and communicate those changes to the Client Services Team.
- Stay up to date with regulatory compliance provisions in relation to the plan documents.
You may be a good fit if you have:
- A high school diploma
- One to Two years general office experience preferred
- Experience in the health insurance industry with a general knowledge of health insurance laws
- Knowledge of medical coding preferred
