Regional West Health Services is an independent, integrated health care delivery system based in Scottsbluff, Nebraska. We are actively looking for caring individuals to join the team as a Health Information Management Technician.

To serve this mission, we ask you to be responsible for the overall quality and completeness of the Medical Record documentation in compliance with the hospital and clinic bylaws, CIHQ standards, federal and state requirements.
As a Health Information Management Technician, you will:
- File required information in the proper medical record.
- Answer phone and handles request in appropriate timeframe following the standards of behavior model.
- Assemble patient medical record to release upon consent to patient or as allowed for treatment, payment, and healthcare operations.
You may be a good fit if you have:
- High School Diploma required, Associate degree in Health Information or related field preferred
- One or more years of previous hospital or clinic experience in HIM preferred
- Medical terminology preferred
