Job Description
Regions Hospital is hiring a Building Automation Technician to join our team.
This position will ensure optimum efficiency and reliability of the automated HVAC system as well as perform other duties as assigned.
Duties include :
- Develops and maintains an efficient operating schedule of the HVAC system
- Develops and maintains a preventative maintenance program for the automated HVAC system to ensure optimum efficiency and reliability.
- Develops programs, monitors, and maintains energy management system.
Work schedule : FTE 1.0 (40 hrs. weekly), Evening Shift
Required Qualifications :
Education : Five years of experience with low voltage, pneumatic and DirectDigital Controls (DDC) operated by a Metasys system.
Experience : Computer programming experience with building automation systems required.
Licensure / Registration / Certification : Must possess a valid drivers license.
Preferred Qualifications :
Education : Associate degree in HVAC.
Experience : Previous experience working with 1,000 ton plus centrifugal chillers preferred.
Licensure / Registration / Certification : Electrical maintenance license desirable.
