Job Description
Regions Hospital is seeking an experienced Electroneurodiagnostic Intraoperative Monitor Technologist to work with our Neurodiagnostic Lab, Monday-Friday, rotating call responsibilities for overnights and weekends.
This position involves providing the technical component of intra-operative monitoring services (including EEG, Somatosensory evoked potentials, electromyography, Motor evoked potentials, Brainstem auditory evoked potentials, etc) to the neurosurgical and orthopedic services and the completion of clinical EEG, EP and EMG / NCV studies.
Work Schedule :
Monday - Friday, rotating call responsibilities for overnights and weekends.
Required Qualifications :
- Associates of applied science degree or Graduate of an Electroneurodiagnostic Technology program accredited by the Committee of Allied Health Education or a minimum of 2 years experience
- Board certified CNIM or a minimum of 2 years' experience with a wide range of neurophysiologic monitoring, including standard and complex EEG, EP, EMG and MEP electrophysiologic testing.
- Board registered in one of the following : CNIM, EEG (R.EEG.T), Evoked Potentials (R.EP.T), Nerve conductions (R. NCS.T)
