Job Description:
At Regions, the Product Manager assists in the development, execution, and tracking of marketing or business segments programs for a product or product line by collecting, analyzing, and reporting marketing and sales performance data.
Primary Responsibilities
Strategizes promotional, marketing, and communication programs for all specified products and services as well as produce standard management reporting
Researches and compiles business and industry competitive data to analyze and develop tactics to achieve strategic goals
Manages sales information, projections, and other meaningful data and prepares forecasts on market evolution and company products
Leads the executions of marketing strategies including advertising, packaging, pricing, expense budgets, profit plans, and future product development
Provides short term and long term strategic direction
Prepares and/or provides guidance in the preparation and delivery of training and sales tools
Acts as the subject matter expert, point of contact, and lead of special projects pertaining to specified products and services
Understands industry research around customer behaviors, new product offerings, new providers, and regulatory impacts while keeping business unit and product development heads informed
Manages vendor relationships including responding and sending requests, managing risks, and ensuring compliance adherence
Leads risk management efforts throughout the life cycle of each product, ensuring proper risk controls and monitoring, and compliance with regulatory risk and operational risk
Develops products and enhances services to remain competitive in the marketplace while ensuring adherence to all of Regions’ compliance and regulatory standard
Collaborates with sales teams to identify and implement sales tactics as well as partner with cross-functional teams to execute strategies
Acts as a lead and mentor of the department
Creates and delivers presentations to senior leadership
This position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime pay.
This position is incentive eligible.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree
Ten (10) years of experience in product development/management, market research, or directly related experience
Preferences
Experience within the financial industry or with a banking institution

This position is for a lead pricing manager on Regions’ Consumer Loan and Deposit Pricing Team. This team is part of Product Management and has responsibility for pricing strategy and execution across Regions’ consumer loan and deposit products as well as the Home Improvement Finance business. This is a high visibility, high impact role with frequent interaction with executive management.
Primary responsibilities include:
Lead pricing analytics and strategy for Consumer loan and deposit pricing
Partner with Product, Finance, Treasury, Risk and Marketing to develop winning pricing recommendations for growth and profitability
Create and deliver presentations to senior leadership. Present recommendations for approval in executive pricing committees for loan and deposits
Quantitatively model and forecast the impact of pricing actions. Build and leverage predictive analytics and profitability models
Develop pricing for new product initiatives
Monitor competitive environment and Regions’ pricing position
Monitor originations volume, yield, spreads profitability and returns
Monitor deposit flows and cost. Understand industry research around customer behaviors, macro-economics, product, market, and competitor trends as well as any regulatory impacts
Partner with Treasury and Finance on budgeting and forecasting.
Partner with Product and Marketing on targeted and non-targeted rate offers for prospecting, balance build and utilization
Act as the subject matter expert, point of contact, and lead of special projects
Act as a lead and mentor of the department
Preferred Experience
Loan or deposit pricing experience
Experience within the financial industry or with a banking institution and strong knowledge of loan and deposit products
Experience with financial modeling and fact-based decisioning

Pay ranges are job specific and are provided as a point-of-market reference for compensation decisions. Other factors which directly impact pay for individual associates include: experience, skills, knowledge, contribution, job location and, most importantly, performance in the job role. As these factors vary by individuals, pay will also vary among individual associates within the same job.
The target information listed below is based on the Metropolitan Statistical Area Market Range for where the position is located and level of the position.
Job Range Target:
Minimum: $118,249.45 USD
Median: $156,540.00 USD
Incentive Pay Plans: This role is eligible to participate in the annual discretionary incentive plan. Employees are eligible to receive a discretionary award based on individual, business, and/or company performance.Opportunity to participate in the Long Term Incentive Plan.
