Job Description:
At Regions, the Regions Investment Management (RIM) Portfolio Manager manages fixed-income assets for a group of clients.
Primary Responsibilities
Manages fixed income assets for a group of clients
Implements policies and programs approved by management and the investment committee
Provides advice and guidance to clients
Conducts fundamental credit analysis for making and implementing investment decisions
Manages the portfolio risk management aspect of an investment process
Keeps abreast of trends and developments in the securities market
May have fixed-income trading responsibility
May use quantitative screening tools
This position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime pay.
This position is incentive eligible.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, and/or Economics supplemented by technical training in estate planning and financial and economic markets
Five (5) years of applicable knowledge or experience in investment / portfolio management, brokerage, finance, or equivalent
Strong credit background with solid understanding of fundamental credit research and a generalist background
Preferences
Certified Financial Analyst (CFA) designation or progress towards CFA

Compensation Details
Pay ranges are job specific and are provided as a point-of-market reference for compensation decisions. Other factors which directly impact pay for individual associates include: experience, skills, knowledge, contribution, job location and, most importantly, performance in the job role. As these factors vary by individuals, pay will also vary among individual associates within the same job.
The target information listed below is based on the Metropolitan Statistical Area Market Range for where the position is located and level of the position.
Job Range Target:
Minimum: $114,649.70 USD
Median: $138,000.00 USD
Incentive Pay Plans: This role is eligible to participate in a formulaic incentive plan. Employees have the potential to earn incentives based on performance against defined metrics and goals.Opportunity to participate in the Long Term Incentive Plan.
