Job Description:
At Regions, the Vendor Risk Analyst performs comprehensive vendor risk and control assessments, ensuring there are effective contract provisions that align to the vendor engagement and safeguard Regions client and associate data, to include Regions brand and reputation.
Primary Responsibilities
Manages internal and regulatory compliance having clear understanding of federal regulatory requirements and industry best practice associated with vendor risk management
Utilizes a basic understanding of applicable legal and contractual provisions with emphasis on security and data privacy to assess critical operational risk and control functions across the enterprise
Manages professional risk assessments against a contract driven vendor relationship and the creation of a comprehensive vendor risk and controls assessment that aligns with respective vendor engagement
Assists in ensuring effective contract provisions exist to safeguard key operational outsources functions
Manages regular engagement with enterprise vendor relationship owners and coordinates vendor ongoing monitoring and performance scorecards
Monitors program compliance and may perform quality assurance to determine if vendor products or services have changed and to determine if scorecard values impact vendor tier risk rating
Assists in maintaining all data attributes within the Vendor Risk Management Master Tier Segmentation database
This position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime pay.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in a related field
Preferences
Experience in Audit, Compliance, Legal, Risk, Vendor Management, or related area
Skills and Competencies
Ability to learn additional systems as needed
Ability to research, analyze data, and derive facts
Ability to work under direct guidance
Developed relationship-building skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)
Strong problem-solving skills against a legal contract driven relationship
Strong verbal, written communication, and organizational skills
Strong work ethic and self-motivation
This position may require travel
This position is intended to be onsite, now or in the near future . Associates will have regular work hours, including full days in the office three or more days a week. Pay ranges are job specific and are provided as a point-of-market reference for compensation decisions. Other factors which directly impact pay for individual associates include: experience, skills, knowledge, contribution, job location and, most importantly, performance in the job role.
