What are the responsibilities and job description for the Head Poms Coach position at Regis Jesuit High School?
Regis Jesuit High School is seeking a Head Poms Coach. Poms is a 2-season sport. Total stipend for both seasons is $9000. Ideally, this person will begin between March 15 - April 1 to prepare for tryouts.

- The Head Poms coach reports to the Athletic Director and Asst. Principal for Student Life who oversees the athletics program.
- Coordinate the hiring and supervision of assistant and Junior Varsity coaches who will report directly to the head coach
- Attend all practices, games, competitions and required events.
- Daily practice planning and strategy.
- Track athlete attendance at practices and events.
- Occasional travel for sporting events / competitions.
- Any other tasks assigned by Head Coach or Athletic Director / Asst. Principal for Student Life.
- Follow school, league, district, and CHSAA regulations and policies.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum of 5 years Poms/Dance experience
- Competitive coaching experience preferred, but not required
- Passion for working with young athletes and helping them achieve their goals.
- Good communication and time management skills
- Commitment to the principles of Jesuit education as set forth in Regis Jesuit’s mission statement and the “Profile of the Jesuit High School Graduate at Graduation”
