Key Responsibilities
The Applications Scientist will be responsible for developing new applications using Regis products to demonstrate key product benefits.
Main Objectives:
- Drive sales growth by creating sales tools (presentations, applications, product guides, posters, etc.) in collaboration with sales and marketing staff.
- Provide technical support to customers, addressing their inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Contribute to market development and strategic direction by identifying new market opportunities that intersect with Regis core competencies.
- Gather voice of customer feedback to inform future product offerings and improvements.
Requirements:
- A bachelor's degree in chemistry or a related field is required; a master's or doctoral degree in analytical chemistry is preferred.
- Extensive knowledge of chromatography techniques such as chiral and achiral analytical and preparative HPLC and SFC is essential.
- Working knowledge of LC/MS is a plus.
- Strong communication, writing, and interpersonal skills are essential.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot technical issues are necessary.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team is required.
Compensation and Benefits
The Annual Base Salary Range for this position is $95,000 - $130,000. The compensation range reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the role. Within the range, individual pay is determined by experience, education, job-related skills, and training. This position may also be eligible to receive an annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy.
