JOB SUMMARY:
- The Controller is responsible for guiding financial decisions by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing policies. This is full-time exempt role
- Education: Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in Finance, Accounting, or similar field
- Experience: Two to four years of experience managing/ supervising a finance team
- Experience with government contracts a plus
- Strong understanding of US GAAP
- Knowledge of/ experience with global ERP and consolidation software systems (Unanet, Deltek, Management Reporting
- Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements
- Establish a process to accurately forecast and budge the P&L, balance sheet and Statement of Cash Flows
- Coordinate and direct year-end audits
- Manage all accounting operations for the business
- Project assets by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing internal controls
- Responsible for analytics at month-end and quarter-end (P&L and balance sheet flux analysis, operating segment flux analysis
- Working closely with local finance/accounting teams to educate, implement and ensure compliance with global process and policies
- Ad-hoc technical accounting research of US GAAP-related issues
- Ownership of the close calendar
