Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN)

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Dietitian to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assessing patients' nutritional needs, developing individualized dietary plans, and providing guidance on health and wellness. This role requires a strong understanding of dietetics, physiology, and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to enhance patient care.

Duties

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to evaluate nutritional status and dietary needs.
• Perform diagnostic evaluations to identify nutrition-related issues.
• Develop and implement personalized nutrition care plans based on individual patient needs.
• Provide education and health coaching to patients regarding dietary choices and lifestyle modifications.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals in acute care and long-term care settings to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Supervise dietary department staff, ensuring compliance with health regulations and quality standards.
• Stay updated on current research and trends in dietetics and nutrition to provide evidence-based recommendations.

Experience

• A degree in Dietetics or a related field is required.
• Experience in patient assessment, diagnostic evaluation, and health coaching is preferred.
• Knowledge of physiology as it relates to nutrition is essential.
• Familiarity with systems used in dietary departments within healthcare settings is advantageous.
• Previous experience supervising staff in a healthcare environment is a plus.
