Registix is seeking a hands-on and results-driven General Warehouse Manager to lead our warehouse operations in Cornelius, NC. This role is ideal for a highly organized professional with experience in inventory management, shipping and receiving, team leadership, and warehouse optimization. The Warehouse Manager will oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring efficiency, safety, and accuracy in all warehouse activities.
This position requires strong leadership skills, the ability to manage a team, and a strategic mindset to improve processes. Experience in an auction house warehouse or logistics environment is a plus.
Key Responsibilities
Operations & Management
- Oversee the daily operations of the warehouse, ensuring an efficient workflow for receiving, storing, and distributing goods.
- Maintain accurate inventory records, conduct regular stock checks, and manage reordering processes.
- Develop and implement best practices to improve warehouse productivity and efficiency.
- Ensure on-time inbound and outbound shipping, overseeing order processing, packaging, and shipments.
- Optimize warehouse space utilization to maximize efficiency and organization.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA and warehouse safety standards.
Team Leadership & Training
- Lead, train, and mentor a team of warehouse associates, providing clear direction and performance evaluations.
- Assign daily tasks and monitor staff productivity and accuracy.
- Implement training programs to ensure staff compliance with warehouse safety protocols and operational procedures.
- Support team morale and a positive workplace culture.
Inventory & Quality Control
- Maintain accurate inventory management using RF scanners, digital tracking tools, and warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Perform regular audits to ensure accuracy in stock levels and prevent shrinkage.
- Collaborate with customer service teams to resolve any warehouse-related issues efficiently.
Equipment & Safety Compliance
- Enforce warehouse safety protocols and ensure all team members comply with OSHA regulations and company policies.
- Oversee equipment operation (forklifts, pallet jacks) and ensure proper maintenance.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free warehouse environment.
Additional Responsibilities
- Supervise shipping and receiving operations to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
- Generate reports on warehouse performance, inventory accuracy, and operational efficiency.
Qualifications & Skills
- 3-5 years of warehouse management experience (auction house, logistics, or supply chain experience is a plus).
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory control, and logistics.
- Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS), RF scanners, and inventory software.
- Proven ability to lead, train, and manage warehouse staff effectively.
- Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and time-management skills.
- Strong communication skills for interacting with team members, leadership, and external vendors.
- Valid driver’s license required (forklift certification is a plus).
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. and work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Work Environment & Expectations
- On-site role in Cornelius, NC (remote work is not available for this position).
- Ability to stand, walk, lift, and bend for extended periods.
- Some weekend work may be required based on business needs.
