Registix/Triangle Liquidators is looking for a Warehouse Lead to support the Warehouse Manager in overseeing daily warehouse operations. The Warehouse Lead will act as a key liaison between warehouse associates and management, ensuring that workflow, safety, and productivity standards are met.
Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership & Training
- Serve as the primary point of contact for Warehouse Associates, ensuring smooth daily operations.
- Assist in training, mentoring, and coaching team members on best practices, safety procedures, and warehouse processes.
- Monitor productivity and workflow, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and accurately.
- Support the Warehouse Manager in assigning tasks and delegating responsibilities to associates.
Operations & Inventory Management
- Oversee order picking, packing, shipping, and receiving processes to maintain accuracy and efficiency.
- Operate RF scanners and warehouse management systems (WMS) to track inventory and shipments.
- Conduct regular inventory audits and assist in reconciling discrepancies.
- Ensure inventory is properly labeled, stored, and rotated to minimize errors and shrinkage.
- Assist in stocking, organizing, and maintaining warehouse cleanliness to optimize space utilization.
Safety & Compliance
- Enforce warehouse safety protocols and ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and company policies.
- Identify and address safety hazards to maintain a clean and secure work environment.
- Assist in equipment maintenance (forklifts, pallet jacks) and report any mechanical issues to management.
- Support a culture of workplace safety and efficiency among team members.
Collaboration & Reporting
- Act as a liaison between Warehouse Associates and the Warehouse Manager to address operational concerns.
- Support performance evaluations by providing feedback on associate performance and workflow improvements.
- Generate basic inventory and shipping reports as needed.
Qualifications & Skills
- 2 years of warehouse experience required (leadership experience preferred).
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations, inventory control, and logistics.
- Experience with RF scanners, WMS, and digital inventory tracking tools.
- Ability to train and mentor warehouse associates.
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills to interact with team members and management.
- Forklift certification preferred (or willingness to obtain).
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs. and work in a physically demanding environment.
Work Environment & Expectations
- On-site role in Cornelius, NC (no remote work available).
- Ability to stand, walk, lift, and bend for extended periods.
- Some weekend work may be required based on business needs.
