Regulus Group is seeking an Associate IT Support Specialist to provide essential IT services, including daily help desk operations, hardware and software procurement, and system maintenance. This role is responsible for resolving common IT issues, developing training documentation, and optimizing IT systems through assessments, lifecycle projections, and software management.
The ideal candidate will work independently, ensuring timely, high-quality contributions that support overall business success. Additionally, this role involves providing individual and team support, fostering a positive and inclusive work environment, and effectively communicating orally and in writing.
Responsibilities
- Perform various IT support services, such as daily help desk operations, hardware and software procurement, and maintenance of IT systems.
- Provide solutions for common IT issues, including creating IT training documentation, links, and resources to assist all employees.
- Conduct assessments of all IT systems, estimate hardware lifecycle and replacement projections, track software, analyze upgrades, and consolidate software on shared resources systems.
- Manage work assignments independently, ensure quality, deliver on time, and make identifiable contributions to customer success.
- Contribute eectively to working groups through oral and written communication and develop cooperative working relationships.
- Engage in knowledge sharing opportunities
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree with 5-7 years of relevant experience in computing, networking, and server-based environments. An additional 2 years of relevant experience can be substituted in lieu of a degree
- High level of proficiency in Windows and Office products
- Strong analytical and technical skills with excellent interpersonal abilities skills
- Proficient in troubleshooting Windows, managing MS Office 365 Admin portals, and using networking tools like PuTTY to manipulate Cisco devices.
- Proficient in using IT ticketing systems to track, prioritize, and resolve support requests efficiently
