Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Escrow Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the escrow process for real estate transactions, ensuring compliance with all regulations and guidelines. This role requires a strong understanding of escrow procedures, mortgage servicing, and relevant regulations such as TLTA and Fair Housing. The Escrow Officer will play a crucial role in facilitating smooth transactions while providing exceptional service to clients.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee residential escrow transactions from initiation to closing, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients, including real estate agents, lenders, buyers, and sellers, addressing inquiries and concerns throughout the escrow process.
- Prepare and review escrow documents, including settlement statements, title commitments, and closing disclosures.
- Collaborate with internal teams, real estate professionals, and other stakeholders to coordinate all aspects of the closing process.
- Proactively identify and address issues that may arise during the escrow process, finding effective and timely solutions.
- Ensure all transactions comply with regulatory requirements, company policies, and industry best practices.
- Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
- Originates business by contacting prospective clients and by developing and maintaining referral sources.
- Prepare and review escrow instructions, closing statements, and other necessary documentation.
- Ensure compliance with Fair Housing regulations and other applicable laws.
- Conduct thorough research on property titles and resolve any discrepancies or issues that arise.
- Maintain accurate records of all transactions and communications throughout the escrow process.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
