Summary
The Patient Financial Services Manager manages the financial services team.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Manages activity expectations
- Ensures that pre-delivery cash is collected, aged patient accounts receivable is worked timely and effectively, patient delinquency is addressed, appropriate staffing levels are maintained, and team is properly trained
- Achieves results expectations
- Monitors and communicates to ensure metrics are achieved and, where deficiencies occur, works with staff to identify solutions and resolve
- Ensures targeted dollars of patient estimated out of pocket is collected prior to or at delivery
- Ensures that patient net 120 is at or below the designated target of total net 120 accounts receivable
- Ensures that bad debt to collections is at or below designated target per month
- Other duties as assigned
