Weekend Supervisor – Long Term Care Full-time.
Weekend Supervisor Shifts : Part-time 7am-7pm Weekends Only
Our long-term care facility is seeking a dedicated and experienced Weekend Supervisor . The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, clinical expertise, and a passion for providing quality care to our residents.
Weekend Supervisor Key Duties
Oversee the nursing staff and ensure that all residents receive high-quality care according to their individual care plans and state regulations.
Coordinate and delegate nursing assignments based on staff qualifications and resident needs.
Provide guidance and support to nursing staff, including mentoring new hires, and providing ongoing training and education.
Collaborate with other members of the interdisciplinary team, including physicians, therapists, and social workers, to develop and implement comprehensive care plans.
Respond to emergencies and medical situations as needed, providing timely and appropriate interventions.
Perform other job-related duties as they become required.
Weekend Supervisor Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Valid LPN and RN license in the state of Florida.
- CPR certification required.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in long-term care or a related setting.
- Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
