The Accounts Receivable Specialist position works in a fast-paced work environment reporting directly to the Contract Manager assisting with the maintaining of client accounts. Rehabilitation Support Services, Inc. is a not-for-profit Agency based in Altamont, NY that operates programs in 17 counties in NYS. We are seeking a qualified candidate to join the Finance team in our corporate offices.
Hours and Benefits:
· 40 hour work week, Monday through Friday

Salary:
· $48,000 to $52,000 Annually
Requirements for the Accounts Receivable Specialist:
· High School Degree or equivalent required;
· Associates Accounting Degree and not for profit accounting experience preferred
· Experience working with computerized accounting systems
· Strong Microsoft Office skills with Word & Excel required
Responsibilities for the Accounts Receivable Specialist include:
· Maintaining client accounts by processing charges, payments/deposits, NSF checks and A/P checks impacting those accounts.
· Research and resolve account discrepancies, maintain and prepare monthly A/R reconciliations for distribution to Program Managers.
