Occupational Therapist Job Description
This role involves providing occupational therapy services to patients in a skilled nursing facility, focusing on promoting independence, functionality, and quality of life.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of occupational therapy principles and practices, as well as experience in assessment, treatment planning, and implementation.
- This role requires a Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate (OTD) in Occupational Therapy from a certified program.
- Possess or be eligible for state licensure in Minnesota.

Key Responsibilities:
Assess and treat patients in a skilled nursing facility, developing and implementing innovative therapy programs to meet patient needs.
Document patient progress and outcomes with accuracy and efficiency, collaborating with patients, families, and staff to provide exceptional care.
- Supervise and mentor COTAs in accordance with state regulations.
- Participate in the operation and success of the department.
