Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) Responsibilities :
Assist the Occupational Therapist in assessing and treating patients.
Implement individualized treatment plans to help patients achieve their therapy goals.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation.
Communicate effectively with patients, their families, and the healthcare team.
Assist in planning, marketing, and developing new therapy programs.
Participate in in-services and team education sessions.
Help with the general operation of the department.
Qualifications :
Associate degree from an accredited Occupational Therapist Assistant program.
Certified by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT).
Possess or be eligible for state licensure as a COTA.
