What are the responsibilities and job description for the Facilities Maintenance Technician position at REHAU, Inc.?
Job responsibilities will also include:
- Support upgrades and modifications to existing plant equipment as necessary for design changes and new program processes
- Support installation of all new plant equipment
- Preventative maintenance and repair of all plant utilities and building equipment. (Lights, doors, plumbing, air handlers, etc.)
- Preventative maintenance and repair of all plant boilers and plant chillers.
- Preventative maintenance and repair of all plant air compressors and driers
- Recommend corrective action to Maintenance Supervisor in regard to equipment to help maximize use
- Maintains records of maintenance activities related to all equipment
- Rebuild and replace defective equipment
- Control maintenance costs
- Support production by maintaining all equipment to a high level of readiness
- Locate, obtain quotes and create requisitions for repair parts as necessary for new equipment installations and maintenance repairs
- Comply with all REHAU Plant Cullman established safety and environmental procedures
