Overview
We are seeking a enthusiastic and dedicated cook to join our preschool. In this fast-paced environment, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional food service and ensuring a positive dining experience for our children. As a Kitchen Member, you will assist in food preparation, maintain cleanliness, and uphold food safety standards while working collaboratively with teachers.

Duties

• Assist in the preparation of food items according to established recipes and standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen workspace, including washing dishes, cleaning tables, and disposing of waste properly.
• Ensure all food handling practices comply with health and safety regulations.
• Communicate effectively with teachers to coordinate tasks and ensure timely service.
• Preparing ingredients and assisting with cooking as needed.
• Monitor inventory levels of kitchen supplies and report any shortages to management.
• Adhere to all food safety protocols to guarantee the quality and safety of the food served.

Skills

• Previous experience in food service or kitchen environments is preferred but not required.
• Strong understanding of food preparation techniques and kitchen operations.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members.
• Knowledge of food handling practices and safety regulations is essential.
• Ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented environment while maintaining a positive attitude under pressure.
• Familiarity with restaurant or hotel operations is a plus but not mandatory.
