What are the responsibilities and job description for the Business Development-Marketer position at REHOBOTH ELDERLY CARE AND COMPANIONSHIP LLC?
Established and maintained relationships with referral sources via presentations, face-to-face meetings, events, and phone calls. Include health facilities and other entities such as case managers, hospitals, discharge planners, Assisted Living Facilities, Nursing Homes, Day programs, Medical Offices, senior centers, and Community centers.
- Reach out and develop relationships with various Referral Sources, which are not limited to other home care agencies, Social Day Program, Rehabilitation, Hospitals, and schools.
- Conducts at least 20 weekly visits and makes medical and non-medical / new follow-up calls.
- Establishes a Networking plan and actively uses it as a working tool, which is revisited as requested/needed.
- Visits existing referral sources to maintain and grow partner relationships.
- Updates prospects, clients, and referral sources database for contact/and or mailing lists.
- Tracks Networking efforts and reviews them with the supervisor every week
- Participates in Networking groups that include the senior population.
- Be able to educate and enroll Medicaid eligible patients to in-network Managed Long Term Care providers
- Be able to establish and sustain beneficial relationships with Social Adult Day Care programs, caregivers, medical specialists that include social workers, discharge planners and other providers that work with Medicaid Long Term Care patients.
- Establish and maintain good working relationships with provider organizations and community organizations where marketing activities are conducted.
- Be able to recognize and implement new marketing opportunities.
Qualification:
- A college degree in Business, Marketing, or Health Care a preferred.
- 1 year of related experience and/or training.
- Experience in medical home care or another service
- Requires proficiency in electronic documentation of networking activity.
- Possess and demonstrate excellent communication and presentation skills as well as a positive, professional, business image.
- Home care marketing or Business development experience required.
- (2) Two years of field experience in Home Care or MLTC
- Knowledge of Home Care/Medicaid eligibility
- Ability to effectively communicate and build relationships
- Be a team player who excels at building trusting relationships with customers and co-workers
Experience:
- Marketing: 1 year Preferred
- Sales: 1 year Preferred
- Home care: 1 year Preferred
- Home Care Marketing or Business Development experience
License/Certification:
- Driver's License (Preferred)
