Certified Medical Assistant- Rapid Care Clinic - Rapid Care Clinic Position Summary:
The Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)/Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) performs patient care activities under the supervision of the Executive Director of Clinics and Rehabilitation Services, RNs and/or physicians. May assist physicians and patient care staff with medical outpatient procedures. Demonstrates the ability to provide age appropriate and culturally sensitive care to patients in the assigned area(s). The Certified Medical Assistant/ Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) is responsible for completing all duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications:

Education:
High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
Completion of Medical Assistant (MA) program via an accredited institute required.

Experience:
One (1) year of previous healthcare experience preferred.

Required Licensure/Certification(s):
Current Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) required.
BLS certification required. (If BLS verification is not current upon hire must be obtained within three (3) months of hire.)
