What are the responsibilities and job description for the Principal Investigator position at Rehoboth Research Institute?
Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated Principal Investigator (PI) to lead our clinical trial site. The PI will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of clinical trial conduct, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and providing scientific leadership to the research team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement and oversee clinical trial protocols.
- Ensure compliance with Good Clinical Practice (GCP), ICH guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with sponsors, regulatory agencies, and internal teams to ensure successful study execution.
- Evaluate and monitor patient enrollment and safety data, ensuring quality and integrity of trial data.
- Help trial coordinator/team maintain thorough documentation and reports related to study progress and outcomes.
**Qualifications:**
- MD, DO, or equivalent degree (board certification not required, but preferred)
- Must have private practice in either general practice, internal medicine, psychiatry, or gastrointestinal medicine
- Experience as a Principal Investigator in clinical trials is a plus, but not required.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
