Position Summary
The Office Administrator provides administrative support to the plant manufacturing team, a welcoming environment for visitors, and serves as a key resource for employees regarding their payroll and benefits.
Accountabilities
- Maintain a welcoming and professional environment by greeting employees, callers and visitors, answering questions and directing phone calls as appropriate.
- Audit and enter payroll on a weekly basis.
- Manage the new hire paperwork process at the plant level, informing new employee of documentation requirements and deadlines, following up as needed, and submitting all completed paperwork to the internal Benefits team in a timely manner.
Collaborate with internal Benefits team to ensure processes are followed and updated as needed.
- Manage vendor relationships and collaborate with internal departments as needed (e.g., office equipment, phone service, uniforms, etc.).
- Manage the stocking and ordering of office supplies.
- Manage the planning and coordination of plant events e.g., Christmas party, summer picnic, etc.
- Perform any other administrative support tasks as needed by the plant team, such as maintaining files, recordkeeping, distributing mail, etc.
