Job Description
The Assistant Project Manager will support the project managers, superintendents, and estimators with preconstruction needs including material projections and orders, equipment requirements, and subcontractor approvals. This role will also be researching new construction materials and methods, new vendors as well as new subcontractors. The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of multi-family construction experience, work in a fast-paced environment, and be a self-motivated team player.
Job Details
- Assist in preparing submittals, RFI’s, change in scope of work, tracking materials, and other preconstruction needs.
- Manage submittal logs, coordinating with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and project superintendents.
- Oversee researching new materials, vendors, and subcontractors.
- Maintain project databases, working files, field binders, and jobsite material orders.
- Organize subcontractor meetings to review scope of work and contract approval.
- Review project requirements to prepare material and labor estimates.
- Research and coordinate information required for each project, creating files, and ensuring the data is correct and available for all to review.
