Under the direction of the Quality / Inspection Manager, the In Process Quality Technician is responsible aiding the manufacturing staff in validating the products they make in real time. Ensuring Conformity at all stages of manufacturing, as well as aiding in process improvements, documentation, compliance, and prevention of waste.
Principal Accountabilities:
The company’s headquarters operate in Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin, with a second remote office also in Menomonee Falls, and a remote satellite office in Indiana. The Menomonee Falls facility’s coordinate production for all customers; metal stamping dies, CNC machining, waterjet cutting, and cleanroom capabilities.

Under the direction of the Quality / Inspection Manager, the In Process Quality Technician is responsible aiding the manufacturing staff in validating the products they make in real time. Ensuring Conformity at all stages of manufacturing, as well as aiding in process improvements, documentation, compliance, and prevention of waste.
Principal Accountabilities:
- Aide in development of quality and inspection plans from design drawings, meeting company requirements for ISO 9001, ISO 13485.
- Program and operate CMM / Faro Arm to specifications.
- Ability to analyze and interpret blueprints to include noted specifications and GD&T requirements.
- Determine gauge and fixture requirements.
- Perform inspection on first piece, in process, purchased part and finished material and products, ensuring conformance to specifications.
- Test finished products for paint and plating, quality and thickness, dimensions, profile and appearance.
- Complete all required records and paperwork to include inspection reports, damage reports, return reports, and re-work orders.
- Analyze quality data, identify problem areas, and assist in resolving manufacturing processes or methods that affect quality.
- Perform process capability studies; recommends changes to improve quality.
- Ensure product quality and deadlines are met.
- Assist the organization in enforcing the Quality System and maintain consistent standards for RTD.
- Identify Corrective and Preventative Actions.
- Participate on cross functional teams to address and resolve quality problems; ensure the continuous, on-going improvement of processes and methods.
- Coordinate and implement cost saving measures.
- Assist in development and implementation of procedures and controls to promote efficient lean operations of the organization and ensure the groups follow those procedures and controls.
- Ability to multi-task many jobs.
- Able to work overtime when requested to meet the needs of customer timelines.
- Comply with all quality, safety, and sanitation regulations.
- Recognize, report, and correct errors.
- Support the company's quality policy, ISO 9001, ISO 13485, 5S practices, LEAN and world class manufacturing initiatives.
- Commit to the corporate goals, mission, and vision.
- Regular physical attendance is required.
- Travel, as required.
- Other duties as assigned.

- High school education or GED.
- Strong mathematical and reasoning abilities.
- Strong desire to learn new skillset: software, measuring tools, high-tech machines.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, governmental regulations, and ISO and quality standards.
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedures manuals.

- Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. - Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variable in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
- Reverse engineering, Solid Modeling, CMM Programming knowledge.
- Blueprint knowledge including GD&T.
- Intermediate use of Microsoft software.
- Prior experience working with automotive, aerospace and medical industries.
- Prior machining or CNC operation.
- Experience working in a job shop manufacturing environment.
- Maintaining continuous quality control and process improvement in the methods used to create products.
- Use more accelerated software to visualize in 3D, and thoroughly understand CAD.
- Cross training, within the company.
- Must wear many hats in this role.
- Maintaining job profitability.
- Working with many different personalities and customers (both internal and external).
