Reich USA is the United States subsidiary of the Reich Kupplungen (Reich Coupling) company. Our company has been providing torsional couplings to the global power transmission industry for over 70 years. Reich USA has been serving North America since 2011.

Our customers make the machines that generate our electricity, harvest our crops, and build the infrastructure that we depend on every day. We work directly with machine designers, equipment packagers, and maintenance teams to enable the machines of tomorrow by providing the best solutions in rotational power transmission.
Reich USA is seeking a talented individual to join its external facing sales team. As a member of the team, the individual will be responsible for managing and growing customer accounts within our South America sales territory. The individual will work closely with customers and Reich USA’s internal engineering team to design power transmission solutions using our line of torsional couplings.
Responsibilities
· Provides technical support to customers both before and after the point of sale
· Works directly with customers to understand requirements. Adapts existing and creates new solutions to meet the customer’s needs
· Manages leads, targets, and develops relationships with customers in the assigned sales territory
· Collaborates with the internal engineering team to create and update designs, including review and approval of engineering drawings for submission to customers
· Maintains an active presence in the sales territory with frequent travel to visit customer sites
· Creates and executes a long-term strategy to grow sales within the assigned sales territory
· Develops a strong technical knowledge of Reich USA’s products and how the products function in customer applications
Requirements, skills, qualifications
· Proven track record of increasing sales
· Must be technically minded. Prior experience in technical sales and/or mechanical engineering
· Significant travel (>50%) to visit customers is required
· Excellent communication skills
· Organizational and leadership ability
· Problem-solving aptitude
· BS in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent technical experience
· Ability to speak multiple languages (Spanish (mandatory), German, Portuguese) is desirable

Base Compensation range: Sales commission tied to territory performance
Annual compensation cycle with bonus & salary increases
Monthly bonus tied to business performance
