Position Summary
Our Business Litigation Group is actively seeking a highly qualified Business and Civil Litigation Paralegal to join our dynamic team. The role encompasses supporting attorneys in a wide range of litigation matters, including commercial and business disputes, employment litigation, trusts & estates, real estate, and land use cases. The ideal candidate will possess 5 years of litigation experience, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, demanding environment. This role offers immediate responsibility with the potential for professional growth within the firm.
Key Responsibilities :
- Assist attorneys with drafting pleadings, pre-trial motions, and legal correspondence.
- Manage discovery processes, including organizing, reviewing, and summarizing documents.
- Support depositions by preparing exhibits, organizing case files, and managing schedules.
- Conduct thorough legal and factual research to support court filings and client counsel.
- Maintain effective communication with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
- Coordinate and assist with pre-trial preparations and trial logistics.
- Organize and maintain case files, ensuring all documents are up-to-date and easily accessible.
- Support post-trial activities, including preparation of appellate documents.
- Oversee and delegate administrative tasks to legal assistants, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
