Under the general supervision of the manager of phlebotomy services, a phlebotomy technician assumes the responsibility for performing venipuncture and related procedures, urine drug screen collections, and applicable culture collections. Also, a phlebotomy technician will perform registration duties as specifically related to client bill and non-admit specimens. Phlebotomy technicians are responsible for ordering tests in the laboratory computer system as needed.

Overview of Responsibilities
- Phlebotomy technicians will also perform Point of Care Testing and UDP testing via Escreen as needed.
- Responsible for ordering tests in the laboratory computer system as needed.
- Will perform registration duties as specifically related to client bill and non-admit specimens.
Education/Experience
Education: High School Diploma
Certifications: Phlebotomy certification preferred. BLS certified
Schedule Details
32 Hours Weekly Flex Schedule - Position has the potential to work any shift within the department Rotating weekends, holidays and on-calls as required.What We Offer
