What you’ll do:
Core duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned
- Assist in the development and maintenance of detailed construction project schedules using Primavera P6 scheduling software.
- Monitor and track the progress of construction projects, identifying and addressing any scheduling issues or delays.
- Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to gather necessary information for schedule updates.
- Prepare and update bi-weekly / monthly schedule reports project timelines, milestones, and critical path activities.
- Support in identifying potential scheduling risks and assist in implementing mitigation strategies.
- Assist in resource allocation and ensure that all tasks are assigned correctly based on project needs and timelines.
- Assist with digital conversion of Microsoft Project schedule files to Primavera P6 schedule files.
- Publishing / uploading completed schedule updates to Procore.
- Participate in project meetings to discuss schedule updates, issues, and overall project progress.
- Maintain accurate records of all scheduling documentation and reports.
- Contribute to improving scheduling processes and procedures as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline; OR 2-3 years of hands-on experience working in the construction trades.
- Strong interest in construction scheduling and project management.
- Familiarity with construction terminology and project workflows.
- Experience with Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, and/or Procore scheduling software is a plus but not required.
- Understanding of computers and willingness to learn Primavera P6 scheduling software is required.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate effectively with teams.
- Attention to detail and a proactive attitude toward problem-solving.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic understanding of critical path method scheduling (CPM).
- Knowledge of construction safety standards and practices. Any OSHA training is a plus but not required.
- Ability to interpret blueprints and construction drawings.
- Exceptional problem solving, organizational, and time management skills with a high level of attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple projects and aggressive deadlines
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications including Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word
Company Offers:
- Pay: $75,000-$87,000 annually based on experience and education
