Qualifications:
- Excellent Attendance Record
- High School diploma/GED preferred
- Own a reliable vehicle
- Able to read and comprehend written instructions
- Computer literate
- Self motivated
- Pays attention to detail
- Adaptable to change
- Able to work as part of a team
- Able to lift 35# repeatedly
- Able to keep up with the pace in an assembly line type work environment
- Willing to work overtime & weekends
- Able to pass a drug screen test after 90 day probationary period
General Duties:
- Know where the Quality Policy is located and understand how it relates to your job
- Know who your next customer is and understand how you perform your job affects their job
- Read, understand and follow all quality alerts
- Know what safety equipment is required for the job and use it properly
- Prior experience as a loader and/or unloader
- Separate non-conforming parts and properly identify with Hold tags
Job Specific Duties:
- Visually inspect each part for defects sent by the customer
- Know how to properly load parts onto the racks
- Know how to properly load racks onto load bars
- Know how to properly scan and fill out work tickets
- Identify and report all Quality/packaging/rack problems to supervisor
- Keep work area clean and organized
- Communicate with previous and following shift about part/line concerns and issues
