Construction Inspector (Stroudsburg Location)
Reilly Associates has openings for Construction Inspectors with 5 years experience in construction, expansion, and/or renovation in any of the following areas: public water treatment facilities, wastewater treatment plants, utility and/or civil construction.
Qualifications/responsibilities include Awareness of Safety Requirements; Ability to read and understand construction plans and specifications; Proficient with documentation and reporting, including technical sketches; Attend project coordination and progress meetings; Willing and able to work in a heavy civil construction project environment, both indoor and outdoor. Must have a valid state driver’s license.
Experienced Engineer
Reilly Associates has an immediate opening for an Experienced Engineer. We have openings for municipal, structural and water/wastewater positions. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering or Environmental Engineering, 6 years of experience working in a civil engineering firm, with 5 years of project management experience in study and design of water/wastewater treatment facilities, water distribution and wastewater conveyance systems. The candidate should have experience or an interest in Project Management, developing technical staff and maintaining client relationships. Primary responsibilities will include, but are not limited to
Researching code and ordinance requirements for project sites
Prepare reports and design relative to drainage, stormwater management, erosion & sedimentation control for project permits and approvals
Prepare permits, concept and design documents
Provide site design and layout
Prepare grading and earthwork analysis
Supervise technical staff in the development of studies, reports and plans
Coordinate structural construction with documents prepared by other project team members (architect, MEP engineer, etc.)
Direct and oversee field work to evaluate project requirements, opportunities, and constraints
Plan, design, schedule, conduct and coordinate detailed phases of a project independently as well as with other engineering disciplines and project management staff
Possess strong working knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D, Microsoft Office suite
Experience in municipal water/wastewater infrastructure design/structural design, assessment, and rehabilitation, including treatment, conveyance and pumping systems
Professional Engineer in Pennsylvania or ability to obtain reciprocity preferred
Experience in coordination with regulatory agencies and project management experience is preferred.
