Base pay varies depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience and market location. In addition, RGA provides an annual bonus plan that includes all roles and some positions are eligible for participation in our long-term equity incentive plan. A Brief Overview
The Contract Manager provides management and oversight for the entire lifecycle of company contracts. They will work with internal stakeholders as well as external vendors to manage contract terms, renewals and key milestones.
What You Will Do
- Serve as the primary contact for Global Legal Services, Global Category Managers, Sourcing Managers and other key stakeholders during contract review process.
- Maintain a centralized contract management system, ensuring all contracts are organized, up to date and easily accessible. Monitor contract dates, renewals and milestones.
- Act as point of contact for contract-related inquiries from internal departments.
- Monitor and audit of contract terms, changes, and performance to ensure compliance.
- Create standard processes. Monitor operational metrics and drive continuous improvements in process.
- Proactively track of internal usage of preferred suppliers, contracted pricing, actual spending against contracted agreements.
- Assign obligations and monitor obligation management process.
- Prepare reports on contract performance, compliance and risk factors for management review. Stay abreast with relevant regulatory requirements.
- Communicate process changes, conduct training when appropriate.
- Facilitate global / enterprise use of templates and/or preferred language.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Arts/Sciences (BA/BS) in Business Administration, Law or a related field. required
- 5 Years contract administration, procurement or legal support experience required
- 8 Years relevant experience preferred
- Insurance or Reinsurance experience preferred
- Familiarity with contract law, regulatory compliance and risk management. required
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple contracts simultaneously. required
- Strong (contract management) process knowledge. required
- Able to work with minor direct supervision. required
- Ability to work well within a team environment, participate in departmental/team projects, and balance detail with department objectives. required
- Must be flexible and adaptive to change. required
- Ability to work effectively and strategically at all levels of the organization. required
- Takes leadership and ownership of projects and initiatives. required
- Excellent negotiation, communication and interpersonal skills. preferred
- Proficient in Sirion contract management software. preferred
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. preferred
